Torqeedo Showcases its Electric Propulsion Solutions at METSTRADE 2024
Torqeedo, the global leader in electric and hybrid propulsion systems for the maritime sector, will present its innovative solutions at the 36th edition of METSTRADE. This event, held in Amsterdam from November 19 to 21, 2024, will bring together over 1,500 exhibitors to showcase the maritime technologies of tomorrow.

A Propulsion Range to Meet Every Need
Torqeedo will unveil a comprehensive range of electric propulsion systems, designed for a variety of applications:
- Travel Family: compact motors for small leisure boats.
- Cruise Systems: designed for sailboats and motorboats up to 12 tons.
- Deep Blue: a high-end modular solution, ideal for large yachts and commercial applications.
Torqeedo’s booth (Hall 6, Stand 06.210) will also feature the team from its Customized Solutions Unit, specializing in tailored solutions for boatbuilders and marine engineers.
Immersive Experiences for Visitors
Exclusively at METSTRADE, Torqeedo will offer a virtual navigation simulator, allowing visitors to experience the performance of its electric motors firsthand. This interactive activity, which includes collecting plastic waste on a virtual lake, highlights Torqeedo’s commitment to sustainability.

Since March 2024, Torqeedo has been part of the multinational Yamaha Group. This collaboration aligns with Yamaha’s Marine CASE 2024 strategy, aimed at promoting maritime decarbonization and enhancing competitiveness.
